2 Arrested In Armed Home Invasion In Santa Clara County, Officials Say
The robbery targeted a residence in an unincorporated area of the county just outside the city limits of Gilroy.
SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA — Two people were arrested and two more are being sought in connection with an alleged armed home invasion robbery in south Santa Clara County last week.
Santa Clara County sheriff's deputies responded to the reported robbery, which targeted a residence in an unincorporated area of the county just outside the city limits of Gilroy.
Multiple masked suspects allegedly held the residents at gunpoint and stole personal property before fleeing in the victims' BMW, according to the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office.

The stolen vehicle was allegedly found by Morgan Hill police using automated license plate readers. Morgan Hill police, the California Highway Patrol and Gilroy police officers pursued the vehicle and stopped it using spike strips and a PIT maneuver.
The two occupants were arrested after a loaded firearm, drugs, and stolen property were allegedly found in the vehicle.
