• Former San Jose police officer to serve prison time for child porn (sfchronicle.com) — A Gilroy resident and former San Jose police community service officer has been sentenced to five years in federal prison for possessing child sexual abuse material, following his 2021 arrest. Authorities say investigators found thousands of illegal images and videos at his home, and a judge also ordered him to pay $47,000 in restitution to identified victims.
