The LaMar family is asking the public to join them for a fundraiser dinner at Ricatoni's in Morgan Hill on Wednesday, April 18, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Ricatoni's will donate 15 percent of the day's total sales to search efforts for Sierra LaMar, 15, who has been missing for over a month.
Randi Bara, the manager at Ricatoni's, said staff decided to hold the fundraiser at the restaurant because they wanted to help the LaMar family and KlaasKids volunteers spread the word about Sierra, and that they also wanted to support the many Morgan Hill residents who have been affected by the teen's disappearance.
"I'm a mom of two children and I cant imagine anything worse, so we wanted to support the family," Bara said. "A lot of people here have children and we know how hard it is for the family."
About 14 tables have been set up just for the fundraiser and Bara said people have been coming into Ricatoni's nonstop since 11 a.m.
