Big Lots Brings New Look To Gilroy Store Opening: Report

GILROY — A retail giant will soon open its doors to a new South Bay with a new look.

The new Big Lots store in Gilroy will feature a redesign that will eventually be adapted by other stores throughout the nation, The Gilroy Dispatch reports.

Gilroy’s first Big Lots store is scheduled to open Aug. 29 on 360 East 10th St. It takes over the site of a Rite Aid store which closed in 2019, the report said.

“We are excited to introduce our new store format to Gilroy,” Joice Wirkus, the company’s senior vice president of marketing told The Dispatch.

“This redesign brings to life our new brand traits and showcases our assortment of affordable solutions in furniture, seasonal, home, food and consumables.

“We are also very proud to serve alongside the Gilroy community and want our customers to know that we are continuing to invest in bringing them the best shopping experience.”
