Coronavirus: Santa Clara County Reports 2 New COVID-19 cases

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA — Santa Clara County on Tuesday reported two new cases of the novel coronavirus, which brings the number of reported COVID-19 cases in the county to 45.

“We expect numbers to grow and urge everyone to follow Public Health recommendations,” county officials said in a statement on Tuesday afternoon.

The county reported its first coronavirus-related death on Monday, and hours later banned all mass gatherings for three weeks.
