Crews Battling 5-Acre Grass Fire In San Martin
One firefighter suffered a sprained ankle.

A firefighter suffered a sprained ankle while battling a 5-acre grass fire in San Martin this afternoon, according to a Cal Fire division chief.
Firefighters responded to a report of a grass fire at the corner of Santa Teresa Boulevard and California Avenue around 2:20 p.m., Cal Fire Division Chief Jamie Norton said.
At about 3 p.m., the blaze was 75 percent contained, Norton said. Firefighters were able to prevent the blaze from spreading to two nearby structures, according to Norton.
