Earthquake Rattles Santa Clara County

The 2.6-magnitude quake was located east of San Martin, USGS reports.

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA – An earthquake measured at 2.6-magnitude shook southern Santa Clara County Tuesday morning, striking at 4:57 a.m., according to officials.

The temblor was centered 8 kilometers, or about five miles, east of San Martin had a depth of 1.7 kilometers, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.
