This is a FREE event for all ages at the Gilroy Demonstration Garden, behind the Gilroy Center for the Arts on Eigleberry at 7th Street.
National Food Day is designed to further knowledge, understanding and dialogue about critical topics in food, agricultures, and nutrition. Gilroy residents of all ages are at increased risk for obesity and related conditions including type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, stroke, and certain cancers. The event will promote healthy foods such as fruits and vegetables to reduce these diet-related conditions.
The event is presented by the South County Collaborative in partnership with Santa Clara County Public Health Department, Cal Fresh, and the Gilroy Demonstration Garden.
