Local teens planned, organized and produced this wonderful event showcasing the talents of our youth. How do you see young people in Gilroy? This question is answered by a groundbreaking exhibition at the Gilroy Arts Alliance Interim Center for the Arts, Uno/One Gilroy Youth Arts Fest. Local teen artists exhibit original artworks ranging from painting and photography to sculpture, mixed media and installation pieces - all curated by local teens working as curatorlal interns.
A day-long youth arts festival will be held at the Center for the Arts on Saturday March 12 from 11am to 4pm featuring live music, dance, theater and poetry, plus interactive arts including sidewalk chalk art contest, spray paint mural, face painting, and temp tattoos.
