​Gilroy Arson Suspect Arrested: Report

Narcisa-Araceli Vasquez is accused of setting a series of fires in Gilroy Sunday, authorities said.

GILROY, CA — Sheriff’s deputies arrested a woman on suspicion of starting multiple fires Sunday in Gilroy, The Gilroy Dispatch reports.

Deputies responding to a report of a suspected arson fire in the area of Monterey Road and Rucker Ave. learnded that Cal Fire had responded to three fires in surrounding areas according to the report.

A woman later identified as Narcisa-Araceli Vasquez was found in the area and the 32-year-old was arrested on suspicion of arson and possession of drug paraphernalia, the report said.

Vasquez was taken to a medical treatment facility and booked into Santa Clara County Jail after her release.
