Gilroy Explores Recreational Development: Report
The city is considering converting a 536-acre parcel near Gilroy Gardens into a recreation area.

GILROY, CA — Gilroy officials are considering converting a 536-acre parcel near Gilroy Gardens into a recreation area, The Gilroy Dispatch reports.
The City Council moved to solicit proposals for a “Hecker Pass Highway Tourism and Recreation Development Opportunity” according to the report.
The official request for proposals (RFP) will be released Nov. 16, the report said. Submissions will be due by Jan. 19.
