Gilroy Groping Suspect Sought: Police

GILROY, CA — Authorities are asking for the public’s help locating a groping suspect, the Gilroy Police Department announced on its Facebook page.
The alleged sexual battery was reported at around 11:50 a.m. on Thursday near Wayland Drive and Sherwood Drive.
Police said suspect was riding a BMX-style bicycle when he approached an adult female who was walking her dog in the area. The suspect began a conversation with the victim before groping her in several places.

The suspect fled the scene on his bicycle toward Las Animas Park.
The suspect was described as a Latino male with olive colored skin, 16-19 years old, and had a thin build. He had thin sideburns and a thin mustache. He was wearing a sweatshirt and blue jeans.
