Gilroy Hospital Earns Top Ranking

GILROY, CA – A Gilroy hospital has earned the top ranking for lowest length of stay for heart attack patients within a 100-mile radius.

St. Louise Regional Hospital received the top ranking from Dexur, a data-driven hospital and healthcare news and research service

Dexur analyzed data over a three-year period from January 2016, to Decemember 2018.

Medicare claims data were used to rank hospitals by Length of Stay (LOS) for heart attack hospitalizations.

The rankings were adjusted for risk based on diagnosis-related groups based on severity and risk levels and quality outcomes.
