Gilroy Hospital Workers Honor First Responders
Hospital Workers Provided Gilroy Police Chief Pedro Espinoza with a decorative certificate.
GILROY, CA — Santa Clara Valley Medical Center and St. Louise Regional staff members and volunteers honored first responders at a ceremony Friday morning at the Gilroy Police Department.
Santa Clara Valley Medical Center CEO Paul Lorenz, St. Louise Regional Hospital Executive Gloria Dela Merced and dozens of hospital staff volunteers and caregivers (nurses, pharmacists, respiratory care therapists, security guards, care managers, etc.) presented newly appointed Gilroy Police Chief Pedro Espinoza with a decorative certificate.
Hospital workers also provided baked goods and items for police officers and support staff along with an oversized poster signed by staff with supportive messages.

Around three dozen hospital staff volunteers delivered posters decorated and signed by hospital staff and other items to fire, police, sheriff and CHP stations – throughout South County.
