Gilroy Man Sought By Police In Domestic Violence Incident

The 41-year-old also is wanted on a warrant, police said.

GILROY, CA -- A suspect in a domestic violence incident this afternoon in Gilroy involving a gun is at large, police said.

Gilroy man Trinidad Zamaripa, 41, allegedly left shortly after noon through a back door of a home in the 9000 block of Rancho Hills Drive.

After officers arrived they could hear an argument inside the home and told the occupants to come outside.
The victim and another person obeyed, but allegedly Zamaripa refused.

As officers tried to secure the area, Zamaripa allegedly left through a back door, according to police.

A search for Zamaripa was unsuccessful, but police said there is no threat to the public. No one was injured and police recovered a gun.

Zamaripa is wanted on felony domestic violence offenses and on an outstanding domestic violence warrant.
