Police in Gilroy are urging residents to use the agency's online reporting system for non-emergency incidents on Sunday.
GILROY, CA — Police in Gilroy are urging residents to use the agency's online reporting system for non-emergency incidents on Sunday, while an information technology upgrade is underway.
The IT upgrade is aimed to enhance responses during power outages or other power-related emergencies.
Santa Clara County Communications will assist to ensure normal emergency operations, Gilroy police said. Emergency response systems will not be affected during the upgrade, which is expected to take between six to eight hours to complete.
