Gilroy Prep School Raising Money for Playground
The school is holding a dinner event to fund a new play area for kids.
Gilroy Prep School is pushing hard to build a new playground, and it is asking for help from the community to accomplish that goal.

To help raise funds for the new kids' structure this year, the school is holding a dinner- event on Oct. 5 at at 5 p.m.

The night at Fortino will include food, a dance floor, auctions, a raffle and a drink ticket. Extra drinks will be available for purchase.
Gilroy Prep School released a total of 200 tickets in late August, with some still left to be claimed. To claim a spot at the party, visit the school office at 227 IOOF Ave. Tickets are $50 each.
