Homicide Suspect Arrested In Gilroy
The suspect tried to run from arresting officers, police said. [Breaking]

GILROY, CA – A suspect wanted for a homicide in the Central Valley city of Los Banos on Tuesday was arrested in Gilroy Saturday morning, police said.
Tony Lujan III was arrested after Gilroy police learned from their counterparts in Los Banos that a suspect in a homicide there was in at home in the 700 block of Dartmouth Place in Gilroy.
Officers surrounded the home and, at about 10:30 a.m., Lujan ran out and tried to escape by climbing over an adjacent fence. Officers arrested him quickly in a neighboring backyard without incident, police said.

Lujan was wanted for the fatal shooting of 35-year-old Rene Cruz Sandoval on Tuesday.
A day after the shooting, Los Banos police arrested three suspects -- 34-year-old Ronnie Lujan, 59-year-old Charles Frederick Lujan and 55-year-old Steven Andrew Lujan -- and said they were still seeking a fourth
suspect.
