Michael Lam was arrested Sunday afternoon Oct. 2 in a residential area of Milpitas, according to police.

At about 9:30 p.m. Oct. 1, a resident of Heath Street saw Lam and another person approach her home. As Lam spoke with her, he allegedly pointed a semi-automatic pistol at her and demanded money. Lam and the other person eventually left the area in a silver Honda Accord without any money or property, police said.
