Man Jumps Pharmacy Counter, Swipes Codeine Syrup In Gilroy

The incident was reported at the Nob Hill Foods store. [Breaking]

GILROY, CA – A young man reportedly jumped the counter at a Gilroy pharmacy on Tuesday evening and stole four bottles of of codeine syrup, according to police.

The Gilroy Police Department released a surveillance photo of the suspect, estimated to be between 17 and 20 years old, from the 7 p.m. incident at the local Nob Hill Foods pharmacy.

The male was described as light-skinned, thin, between 110 and 130 pounds, and approximately 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall.

He fled the scene in a maroon Cadillac CTS driven by a white female, police said.
