One Dead This Morning After Vehicle Hits Tree on Hwy 101

At least one person is dead after a vehicle crashed into a tree in Gilroy this morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The first report of the crash on northbound U.S. Highway 101 at Leavesley Road came in at 6:02 a.m., CHP officials said.
