Record-Breaking Cold Hits Gilroy Overnight: NWS
The overnight low temperature busted the previous record for Gilroy set in 1990, according to the National Weather Service.

GILROY, CA — Following weeks of warm weather, temperatures across the South Bay plummeted this week. Gilroy was among several Bay Area cities to break records Tuesday. The strongest winds will be along the coast and over the higher elevations, according to the weather service.
The remainder of this week in Gilroy, daytime highs will hover between 57 and 61 degrees. Overnight lows in Gilroy will range between 30 and 35 degrees the rest of this week, forecasters say.
