MONTEREY COUNTY, CA -- A female victim reported to be lying on a highway Sunday night in unincorporated Monterey County near Soledad suffered major injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol. The first report of the victim was at 10:42 p.m. on northbound U.S. Highway 101 just south of Camphora Gloria Road.
