Teen Shot In Drive-By Shooting In Gilroy
The 16-year-old was treated at an area hospital. Suspects sought by police.
GILROY, CA — A 16-year-old male was wounded Tuesday in a drive-by shooting reported at approximately 6:45 p.m. on the 200 block of West Tenth Street in Gilroy, according to police.
Now sought by the Anti-Crime Team, the suspects were in a vehicle and reportedly fired several rounds at a group of juveniles, then sped off south on Church Street, the Gilroy Police Department said.
The teen victim was treated at a local hospital for the injury, deemed non-life threatening, and released, officials said.
