Tiny, $90K Homes Planned For Gilroy RV Site: Report
Average size of the homes will be around 400 square feet according to the report.
GILROY, CA — A Gilroy RV park has been purchased by a company that plans to build tiny homes it hopes sell for less than $90,000 in a region experiencing a scarcity of affordable housing.
Harmony Communities, which produces manufactured homes, paid $9 million through affiliates for The Garlic Farm RV Park, The Mercury News reports.
The company said in a statement it plans to gradually convert the park’s 158 spaces to “affordable, attractive tiny home lots,” the report said.
