TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Hwy 101 Closed In Both Directions In Monterey County
Big-rig falls on passenger vehicle with three people inside.

U.S. Highway 101 is closed in both directions in Monterey County south of Airport Boulevard after a big-rig fell on its side and landed on a passenger vehicle, according to Caltrans and the California Highway Patrol.
The first report of the collision came in at 3:38 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol and CHP issued a Sig-alert at 4:31 p.m.
The big-rig fell on its side and landed on a vehicle with three people inside, a CHP dispatcher said. The dispatcher did not know the extent of the injuries to the people, but they were conscious and alert. CHP officers are diverting traffic onto Abbott Street as crews work to upright the big-rig.
