California Voter Registration: Online Deadline Here
Tuesday, Feb. 18 is the deadline to register to vote online or by mail for CA's March 3 election. If you miss it, you can still vote.
CALIFORNIA — The deadline to register to vote in California's March 3 presidential primary is midnight Tuesday, Feb. 18.
And there's no need to print out a form or visit an office to register. You can register to vote online, at RegisterToVote.ca.gov, using any computer, smartphone or tablet.
The online registration is available in 10 languages: English, Spanish, Chinese, Hindi, Japanese, Khmer, Korean, Tagalog, Thai and Vietnamese.

Voters who have moved, changed their name or want to change their party affiliation also need to update their voter registration by midnight Tuesday.
"If you are unsure of your voter registration status, you can verify it at voterstatus.sos.ca.gov," Secretary of State Alex Padilla said in a statement. "With the California Presidential Primary quickly approaching, election excitement is building across California—you won’t want to miss out."

If you miss Tuesday's deadline, it's still possible to vote in the March 3 primary. Same-day voter registration can be done at any local county elections office, polling place or vote center by simply filling out a form. Same-day registration is available from Feb. 18 through Election Day.
And if you prefer to register on paper, voter registration cards are available at most government offices, including libraries and post offices. Those cards must be postmarked by Feb. 18.
