Glendora breaks ground on 1.6-mile trail next to the San Dimas Wash (urbanize.city) — Glendora has just broken ground on a 1.6-mile multi-use trail along the San Dimas Wash that will link neighborhoods to the A Line's Glendora Station. This is the first step in a planned 10-mile trail network connecting areas like Glendora Village and Citrus College, promising safer walking and biking options for residents for years to come.

Day Player Actor Job in 'Tomorrow is a Dream,' Romantic Drama Short Film, Female, Age 60-75 (backstage.com) — A short film is casting a woman in her 60s to mid-70s to play a warm, comedic diner regular in scenes filming in Glendora on Sept. 18 and 19. If you or someone you know fits the role and has improvisational skills, this could be a fun way to get involved in a local production.
   

4. St. Margaret's football defeats Fountain Valley with second-half comeback (fresnobee.com) — Fountain Valley's football team will visit Glendora next Friday after falling 14-7 to St. Margaret's in a nonleague matchup decided by two long second-half touchdown passes. Local fans can look ahead to seeing Fountain Valley try to rebound on Glendora's home field, while St. Margaret's prepares for its own home game against Capistrano Valley Christian.
   

5. Video shows bear wandering through San Gabriel Valley shopping center (cbsnews.com) — Shoppers in Glendora got an unexpected sight when a bear wandered through a Route 66 strip mall near Los Cerritos Road in broad daylight. Security video shows the animal strolling past Alur Studios and around the back lot before moving on, leaving locals startled but unharmed and highlighting how wildlife occasionally crosses into busy city spots.
