
An unscheduled vacancy has occurred on the Business Improvement District Advisory Board and city officials will be accepting applications for interested persons wanting to take a role on the BID.
The unscheduled vacancy occurred for Office No. 3. Applications will be accepted until January 15, 2014 at 5 p.m. The term is set to expire June 30, 2015.
Board members are required to complete AB1234 Ethics Training and Brown Act training within one year of appointment and every two years afterwards. Members are required to attend meetings on a regular basis. Board meetings occur on the first Thursday of the month at 8:30 a.m. in the City Council Chambers.
BID Advisory Board members must operate bona fide businesses located in the Business Improvement District boundaries that are subject to assessments imposed by Section 5.40 of the Glendora Municipal Code.
Applications can be downloaded from the city website [http://www.ci.glendora.ca.us/], or can be picked up at the City Clerk's Office, 116 East Foothill Blvd. between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
