Azusa Unified to Offer Free Meals to Youths This Summer
The Azusa Unified School District will offer free meals this summer to youths ages 18 and under as part of the federally funded program.
The Azusa Unified School District will offer free meals this summer to youths ages 18 and under as part of the federally funded Summer Food Service program that ensures children have access to healthy meals, even when school is not in session.
Children do not have to be Azusa Unified students to receive free meals. Lunches will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays from June 9 to July 14 at the following sites. Meals at Memorial Park are available at an extended period, from June 8 to July 17.

Valleydale Elementary School, 700 S. Lark Ellen Ave., Azusa

Clifford Murray Elementary School, 505 E. Renwick Road, Azusa
Memorial Park (June 8 – July 17), 320 N. Orange Place, Azusa
Slauson Middle School, 340 W. Fifth St., Azusa
On Fridays, lunches will be available from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at Memorial Park, Clifford Murray Elementary and Lee Elementary.
“Our commitment to students does not end when the school year comes to a close,” said Azusa Unified Superintendent Dr. Linda Kaminski. “We want to ensure the children of our community have access to healthy, balanced meals so that they can continue their educational and personal growth throughout the summer and be well prepared to enter the upcoming school year.”
