On February 20, Cedargrove held their 7th annual Science Convention. Student created projects were on display, but there was so much more to see and discover! There were hands on activities for the whole family. Students and adults alike enjoyed a microscope activity, a laser game, and a fossil dig and classification activity. As a special treat, NASA loaned us a life size example of each type of Mars rover wheel currently in use on the red planet. We even had the actual test mockup wheel from the Mars 2020 rover--with 'Mars test dust' on it! Spearheading this event was our own parent extraordinaire (and resident NASA/JPL expert), Frank Dowens and his wife, Margie. Together, they put on a spectacular event. The Cedargrove family is blessed beyond measure by the service of these two special parents!
