Charter Oak Choirs in High Demand

The Advance Choir Ensemble treated Disneyland California Adventure to a wonderful performance.

The Advance Choir Ensemble (ACE) treated those visiting Disneyland California Adventure on our Veteran’s Day Holiday to a wonderful performance. They were selected again for a performance at the Hollywood Backlot Stage with the Disneyland Community Arts Showcase program that receives auditions from schools and community groups from all over Southern California.
They then began their busy holiday tours performing for parents, Rotary Clubs, the District Office to name only a few.
Covina Mayor John King said, “The Covina City Council was honored to have the Charter Oak Advanced Choral Ensemble “ACE” sing at our Council meeting. We wish you continued success with the program and know that you represent the Covina community with pride in all your performances. Again, thank you for the wonderful holiday treat.”

Choir Director Rebecca Schmalzbach was also invited with the Middle School Choir to perform at Disneyland on January 19 for the Community Arts Showcase. Ms. Schmalzbach said “our kids represented our school and community with excellence in our singing and behavior and we received fantastic feedback from the Disney staff who worked with us.
Go runners!
