The Charter Oak Unified School District Board of Education will gather at their regularly scheduled meeting tonight to discuss, among other things, site plans for district schools.
The Single Plan for Student Achievement outlines methods for improving student performance at each school, solution strategies and methods for analyzing success. Each plan also provides ways to improve teacher performance and learning to meet state content and performance requirements, according to district officials.
The California Education Code and federal Elementary and Secondary Education Act requires each school site consolidate all school plans funded under certain grants and formulate one Single Plan for Student Achievement, according to the California Department of Education website.
Each of the Charter Oak's 10 school sites has conducted an annual review and has prepared and revised, if appropriate, a SPSA for the 2013-2014 academic year, district officials said.
