Citrus College to Offer Nursing Assistant Program
The 8-week program begins Aug. 27 for the Fall 2013 semester.

Citrus College will reinstate its eight-week Nursing Assistant Program for the Fall 2013 semester, according to a statement from the college.
Classes are set to begin Aug. 27, with classes Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The program is designed to prepare students for a career as a nursing assistant, prepare them for the required state competency examination for licensure and employment in an entry-level position as a caregiver in a long-term care facility.

A mandatory information meeting will be held on campus at the Louis E. Zellers Center for Innovation, Room 159 July 10 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
