City of Glendora Day Trips Still Open
City of Glendora Day Trips are still available for Descanso Gardens, Santa Anita Race Track, Angels vs Dodgers and more!
DESCANSO GARDENS
This Active day trip is on Tuesday, April 26, 10:00am – 4:30pm. The fee is $30.
Spend the day at this beautiful garden in La Canada/Flintridge. Guided walking tour to see the Azaleas, Wisteria, Wildflowers and more. Lunch on your own at the Café or bring a picnic.
SANTA ANITA RACE TRACK
This Moderate day trip is on Thursday, May 5, 11:00am – 5:30pm. The fee is $45.
Our annual visit to the horse races with a great lunch, Clubhouse seating, program and even a handicapper to help us select those winners. Put on your lucky hat and help us shout’em home.
ANGLES VS DODGERS AT ANGELS STADIUM
This Active day trip is on Thursday, May 19, 5:00pm – 11:00pm (7:05pm game). The fee is $45.
Join us for the 1st Freeway Series game to kick off the season. Fun for the whole family!

STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL – OXNARD
This Moderate day trip is on Saturday, May 21, 9:00am – 5:00pm. The fee is $25.
Every other year we spend a day in the great outdoors, eating our fill of strawberry shortcake and listening to the entertainment, and checking out the craft booths. Fun for the whole family.
“NEWSIES” BROADWAY’S SMASH HIT MUSICAL
This Easy day trip is on Sunday, May 22, 11:30am – 5:00pm. The fee is $80.
This great show will be at the Segerstrom Center and we will be there. This Tony Award winner is filled with high energy music and dancing. 1pm performance.

“A LOOK BACK” - A TRIBUTE TO DEAN MARTIN & JERRY LEWIS
This Easy day trip is on Wednesday, June 8, 10:00am – 5:00pm. The fee is $45.
A new show by the group that did the Honky Tonkin Show we went to last year. They will be performing in Huntington Beach this year. Lunch on your own in the area.
