COHS Drama Stands Tall

COHS drama proved we can stand tall.

COHS drama proved we can stand tall. On Oct 24th our Drama Varsity team went up against 86 others schools from all over California in the annual DTASC festival. In a grueling competition in 9 events, we placed 12th overall taking a first in tech design for set and lights (Justin Joanau, Maya Lopez, Tyler Pullen). In the event called International Playwrights we placed 6th. Most of our team made the semi final cut (top 20%). On November 4, 2015, the junior varsity team (9th graders) did even better. They took two 1st places. One in costume and make up design (Maine Stafford) and the second one in audition piece (Carly Godoy). We took a 4th in group humor and 99% of the team made finals (top 10%). Overall we came in 4th! We beat some of the major performing arts high school.
