Darrell Park Expands Lead Against Bob Huff for Second Place in Supervisor Race
The latest vote tally shows Park with 51,850 votes, or 15.35 percent, while Huff has 50,189 votes, or 14.86 percent.

LOS ANGELES, CA - Businessman Darrell Park continued Friday to expand his lead in the race for the second spot in a runoff election for the Fifth District seat on the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors.
According to updated results, Park has a 1,661-vote lead over Sen. Bob Huff, R-San Dimas. That's up from the 1,194-vote lead he held when results of the June 7 election were updated on Tuesday.
The latest vote tally shows Park with 51,850 votes, or 15.35 percent, while Huff has 50,189 votes, or 14.86 percent, according to the Registrar- Recorder/County Clerk.

Kathryn Barger, chief of staff to outgoing Supervisor Michael Antonovich, leads the field with 100,689 votes, 29.82 percent.
Because no candidate received a majority in the June 7 primary, the top two finishers will meet in a runoff in the Nov. 8 general election.

Another 178,888 votes still need to be tallied. The counting is expected to be completed by July 1.
Park had a 400-vote lead over Huff in the semiofficial ballot count released June 8.
