Deputies Release Sketch of Attack Suspect
Man reportedly attacked pregnant suspect in unincorporated Covina Sunday morning.

Detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, San Dimas Station, are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man who assaulted a pregnant woman shortly after 8:00 a.m. Sunday morning. The incident occurred near the intersection of Cienega Avenue and Treanor Avenue in the unincorporated area of Covina.
The victim, while walking on Cienega Avenue, was attacked from behind by an unknown assailant. The suspect knocked the victim to the ground and proceeded to kick the victim. When the victim yelled to the attacker that she was pregnant, the suspect immediately fled the area. There is no known motive for this assault. The investigation is on-going.
The suspect is described as a 23 to 25-year-old male Hispanic, 5 foot 5 to 5 foot 8 inches tall, 105 to 170 pounds, with a shaved head. He was wearing a black sweatshirt and sunglasses.
