Second time's a charm for 27-year-old Cory Ellenson who was elected to the Glendora Unified Board of Education Nov. 5.
Incumbents Chuck Gomer and Mike Gautreau we reelected.
With all 11 precincts reporting, Ellenson received 1,641 votes. Gomer received the most votes of all four candidates with 1,771. Gautreau received 1,274 votes.
Ellenson had an unsuccessful bid in the past to run for the Glendora Unified School Board.
Political newcomer Michael Christensen was defeated, receiving 667 votes, according to lavote.net.
