I suppose I should begin with an introduction. Depending on who you speak to I am many things. I am a Father, Artist, Illustrator, Teacher, Graphic Designer, Entrepreneur, Writer, Composer, Poet, Hopeless Romantic, Dreamer, Crazy Person or any combination of the aforementioned. However, if you brush all that away I am really just one thing... I'm just a guy.. A guy who happens to have a bunch of ideas. Now whether they are any good or not is highly subjective and undoubtedly varies from one to the next. I guess that's besides the point. By the way, forgive me as I tend to write as I think and in turn think as I write. So you may encounter ramblings, frequent side tracks and an all around general confusion when reading my blog. I of course apologize for this but have decided to carry on anyway.
So these ideas, they basically don't stop. They just keep piling up and gradually fill up my brain until they debilitate my ability to concentrate on literally anything and everything. The remedy as it turns out is simply to create. The more ideas I expel through creation, the more space I free up, alleviating an otherwise encumbered mind, allowing me to function as a relatively normal human being. So that's what I do, I make stuff.
Now I'm not going to sit here and convince you that I am anything remarkable, although, my personal belief is that there is no such thing as an unremarkable person. But that's a topic for a different time. For now I just want to give you an idea of what to expect if you at all care to continue reading this blog. Each post from here on will generally focus on one idea. either in concept or completion. The reason for this is to candidly share an example of what it is to be what is know as an artist today. And trust me, I use the term loosely and only because I find little else to quickly surmise that what I am/do is in truth quite inexplicable.
So there you have it, that's me in a nut shell. This is where the journey begins and will continue from one outlandish idea to the next. I will likely throw in random thoughts and observations on life and what not as well. It won't always be refined or elegant but my hope is that it will be both informative and somehow entertaining. If anything I share is relate-able or manages to inspire then this blog will have served it's purpose.
