Glendora Chamber pleased to announce that Glendorans Gary & Connie Andrews have been selected as the 2019 Glendora Citizens of the Year.

The Glendora Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that Glendora residents Gary & Connie Andrews have been selected as the 2019 Glendora Citizens of the Year. Gary & Connie will be honored at the 72nd Annual Glendora Citizen of the Year Banquet on Thursday, April 16th, 2020 at the Glendora Country Club.
Besides operating the successful, long-established business, Andrew’s Inc., Gary and Connie Andrews have given of themselves to Glendora in countless ways. Gary grew up in this community as did his mother. He has been a merchant in the Glendora village for almost 49 years. Connie’s been active in PTA, was co-chair of Red Ribbon Week and involved with their daughter Jennifer’s soccer program. Helping wherever they can, Connie was presented with the Kiwanis Club of Glendora Kiwanniane’s Community Service Award in 2019.
CSM Ret. Gary W. Andrews served our country as a member of the National Guard for 38 years, retiring in 2006. Gary and Connie consider the Army part of their family. Gary has also been a crucial member of the Glendora Village Business Improvement District where he has been on the board for many years.
