WANDO (Widows and Orphans) International is a non-profit organization with one goal in mind – empower the vulnerable, impoverished widows and orphans of Uganda. It was created by Michelle Huo after witnessing the dangerous and deplorable conditions caused by extreme poverty within urban and rural Uganda and how such conditions have caused orphans and widows to be cast indiscriminately to the wayside of society. They set out to develop a self-sustainable leadership community designed to begin repairing the problem and restoring the lives of those most negatively affected.

For more information please visit Wando International at 146 N. Glendora Ave. Glendora CA 91741 or call 626-616-6347. You can also visit them at WandoInternational.org to see how you can be a part of their mission to help widows and orphans.
