Acceptance of 2013 Supplimental Law Enforcement Services Funds (SLEF).
CITY RECOMMENDATION: City Council open and conduct a Public Hearing, accept evidence and testimony presented, close the hearing, and in the absence of evidence or testimony to the contrary, consider the following: 1) Accept the $100,000 in Supplemental Law Enforcement Services Funds for FY 2013-2014 for continued salary and benefits for one police civilian position.
City of Glendora and Glendora Successor Agency Investment Report and Fiscal Agent Report for Sept. 30, 2013.
CITY/AGENCY/AUTHORITY RECOMMENDATION: Receive and file.
Presentation of the City's Strategic Plan and Objectives for April 10, 2013 through October 15, 2013 updated October 2013.
CITY RECOMMENDATION: Review and Accept the City’s Strategic Plan as presented.
Introduction of an Ordinance amending Section 9.20.010 of the Glendora Municipal Code regarding Acts Prohibited on City Property.
CITY RECOMMENDATION: 1) Waive further reading, read by title only and introduce for first reading an Ordinance entitled, “AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDORA, CALIFORNIA AMENDING SECTION 9.20.010 OF THE GLENDORA MUNCIPAL CODE REGARDING ACTS PROHIBITED ON CITY PROPERTY;” and 2) Authorize staff to schedule ordinance for second reading.
Presentation by the Inland Humane Society to provide clarification on the City's policies relating to the rise in visibility and interaction with various wildlife species.
CITY RECOMMENDATION: Receive and file presentation by Inland Valley Humane Society.
