Glendora City Council Preview
Overview of some items to be discussed at the Nov. 12 meeting.

1. Public Hearing Introducing an Ordinance adopting the 2013 Editions of the California Building Codes. (CITY ACTION)
The City will conduct a public hearing and conduct a first reading an ordinance adopting the 2013 editions of the California fire code, building code, California existing building code, California Historical code, California Mechanical code, California Plumbing code, California Electrical Code, California Residential code, California Green Building Standards code and the California Energy code.
2. A Public Hearing to consider a Resolution approving a General Plan Amendment for the 2013-2021 General Plan Housing Element (Project No.: PLN12-0105, Applicant: City-Initiated). (CITY ACTION)
The city will conduct a public and consider adopting a negative declaration and adopt a resolution titled "A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Glendora, California Approving a General Plan Amendment Adopting the 2013-2021 General Plan Housing Element.
3. Ratification of Appointment of Timothy Staab as Glendora Police Chief. (CITY ACTION)
The city will recommend the ratification of the City Manager's selection for Glendora Police Chief.
4. Consideration of an Agreement to extend the lease term of City-owned property located at 16734 Arrow Highway, Irwindale, California to Gerlach Landscape Services. (CITY ACTION)
The city will recommend to adopt a Categorical Exemption for the project, approve a five-year lease for the property and authorize the mayor to execute the agreement.
