TO THE MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDORA AND TO THE CITY CLERK:

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council will conduct a meeting at 5:00 PM on Tuesday, December 8, 2020, in via Zoom Video Communications, meeting ID# cityofglendora.org/zoom or https://zoom.us/j/9329247224. The purpose of said meeting is as follows:

CLOSED SESSION

1. CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATORS (pursuant to Government Code)

A closed session will be held, pursuant to Government Code §54957.6 to conduct labor negotiations.

City Negotiators: City Manager Adam Raymond, City Attorney William Wynder, Administrative Services Director June Overholt.

Employee Organization: Glendora Police Managers Association (GPMA), Glendora Police Officers Association (GPOA), American Federation of State, County & Municipal Employees (AFSCME), Glendora Management Association (GMA), and Executive Management Unrepresented Employees: Chief of Police, Library Director, Public Works Director, Community Development Director, Administrative Services Director, Community Services Director, and City Clerk/Communications Director.

2. CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATOR

A closed session will be held, pursuant to §54957.6 to conduct labor negotiations.

City Negotiators: Mayor Allawos and Mayor Pro Tem Davis

Unrepresented Employee: City Manager

3. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL – EXISTING LITIGATION

A closed session will be held, pursuant to Government Code §54956.9(d)(1), to confer with legal counsel regarding pending litigation to which the City is a party. The title of such litigation is as follows: GLENDORA vs. XIN “CHARLES” CAO (erroneously sued herein as CAO “CHARLES” XIN) and OLIVIA LEI ZHAO; Case Number 20PSCV00566; Court Name Los Angeles County Superior Court.

4. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL –ANTICIPATED LITIGATION

A closed session will be held, pursuant to Government Code § 54956.9(d)(2) and (e)(1), because there is a significant exposure to litigation in one (1) case but which the City believes are not yet known to a potential plaintiff or plaintiffs, which facts and circumstances need not be disclosed.
