AS MAJOR CONSTRUCTION BEGINS; EXPECT ONGOING CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES WITHIN THE RAILROAD CORRIDOR

AUGUST 2020 - EARLY 2024

CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITY
Starting in early August, construction crews will begin major construction of the 9.1-mile, four-station Foothill Gold Line light rail project from Glendora to Pomona; performing various and ongoing construction activities within the railroad corridor. Expected early activities will include removing inactive overhead wires and poles as well as removal of all vegetation (trees, shrubs, and debris) affecting the railroad corridor. Ongoing construction will continue for the next few years and consist of activities including, but not limited to: grading, excavation, wall construction, underground utilities installation and track work. Note: Periodic construction notices will be provided prior to additional work taking place; such as work at grade crossings requiring street closures.

WHEN
Construction activities within the railroad corridor are scheduled to begin August 3, 2020 and be ongoing thru early 2024 (crews will be at different areas along the railroad corridor at different times throughout construction). Work will be performed daily - Monday thru Saturday. Construction on Sundays and night work may be performed.

WHERE
Construction activities will take place throughout the 9.1-mile railroad corridor from Barranca Ave. (Glendora) to Garey Ave. (Pomona).

WHAT TO EXPECT
Noise from construction equipment will be produced near the active work zones. Watering equipment will be utilized for dust control where needed.

STAY SAFE
Please obey all posted construction signs and do not enter the construction work zone.
