Glendora Lassie League Softball Awards 5 Scholarships

The Glendora Lassie League (GLL), a non-profit organization, is Glendora's fast-pitch girls softball league.


The Glendora Lassie League (GLL), a non-profit organization, is dedicated to helping young ladies become productive citizens through wholesome fun, responsible leadership and the spirit of good sportsmanship, teamwork and fair play.

In April, at a GHS assembly, GLL was proud to announce our 2015 Scholarship winners who display these outstanding qualities as role models to our up and coming players and community. Scholarship criteria included a minimum of two seasons in Glendora Lassie League, a cumulative high school grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or better and good citizenship.

Five deserving seniors received $500 scholarships. Congratulations to:

• Hannah Rabitoy, attending UCR OR UCI
• Kaylee Wallingford, attending Marymount California University
• Alex Bush, attending Cal Poly SLO
• Micaela Lamb, attending University of Pacific or Dallas Baptist University,
• Hanna Heftman, attending University of South Alabama

Glendora Lassie League, an official 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is primarily a program of service to the young ladies of our community. It is established and geared to provide an avenue for healthy activity and training under responsible leadership in the atmosphere of wholesome community participation. We appreciate any and all donations throughout the year which are used to enhance opportunities for our players in the areas of skills, field improvements, scholarships and more.
