GLENDORA WATER COMMISSION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a vacancy has occurred on the City of Glendora’s Water Commission due to a resignation. Applications will be received until 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 28, 2020 and the successful candidate will be appointed to complete the vacated term ending June 30, 2021.

ABOUT THE WATER COMMISSION:
Water Commission: Members serve a 4-year term. This Commission serves in an advisory capacity to the City Council on policies and programs related to water rates, conservation efforts and financial matters. Members must be customers of the City’s water division of the Public Works Department. This Commission meets on a quarterly basis.
Pursuant to City Resolution, members are required to complete AB1234 Ethics Training and Brown Act Training and are required to attend meetings on a regular basis.
APPOINTMENT PROCEDURE: Applicants must be 18 years or older, register to vote and must maintain residency within the incorporated areas of the City of Glendora during their term of office. Applications are available via the City’s web site at www.cityofglendora.org or can be mailed to you by calling the City Clerk’s Office at (626) 914-8210, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., except holidays. Completed application forms must be filed with the City Clerk no later than 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 28, 2020. Please call the City Clerk’s Office at (626) 914-8210 for more information.
It is anticipated that interviews will be schedule for Tuesday, June 9, 2020 between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. online via Zoom Video Communications. Applicants will be contacted to schedule interview times following the recruitment deadline.
