Plaza Discovery Place*
Visit our weekly pop-ups on the Plaza where guests can discover activities, topical materials such as music CDs, DVDs, audiobooks, and of course...Books! A selection of materials will be available for immediate check out. All other Library materials may be requested for pick-up the following morning.

In-N-Out Cover to Cover Reading Program
October 3 – November 14*
Reading incentive program for children ages 4-12. Children who read five hours will receive a certificate for a hamburger or cheeseburger from In-N-Out. Register and report reading (all online this year) at: https://cityofglendora.beanstack.org/reader365
*Pick up your reading certificates through Friday, November 20:
Mondays: 5pm-6pm City Hall parking lot off Vista Bonita
Fridays: 3pm-4pm Teen Center parking lot, 241 W. Dawson Ave.
Opera Talks

Join the Library and Ray Busmann of the LA Opera Speaker’s Bureau for a Zoom presentation about Joseph Bologne, an often overlooked composer who inspired Mozart, commissioned Haydn, was a fencer and violinist, and also led troops in the French Revolution. He is also known as the first black classical composer in history!

Get in the holiday spirit with a fun, socially distanced family friendly event. Children can see Santa and his elves, drop off a letter to Santa, and receive a bag full of goodies. Participate in an optional toy drive to benefit the Department of Children’s and Family Services. Brought to you by the Glendora Public Library and City of Glendora Community Services Department. Sponsored by GPL Friends Foundation, Glendora Rotary and Raising Cane’s. Supplies are limited to the first 500 children.
Holiday Book Party
