Help Find Tucker a Home

From Pasadena Patch Lifeline For Pets' Blog (Posts about our beautiful adoptable cats and dogs to help you find just the right one for you. Lifeline For Pets is a small, no-kill rescue organization based in Pasadena, and operated solely by hard-working and very caring volunteers.)

Dear Kind Folks: PLEASE SHARE THIS! His name is TUCKER and he's FIV+. He's only about a year or two old. We are working with his rescuer to help find him a safe, loving home with an experienced adopter. Call 818-613-6738 and dudleydewright@gmail.com. TUCKER is otherwise very healthy, has a gorgeous appearance, and is neutered. Here is what his rescuer says: "There are so many things about him that are super cute.
He is in love with my husband and now comes up to my mom.
He will require lots of love and a gentle hand.
We've gotten him more socialized but he still gets scared.

He hisses when he first sees you sometimes in the morning. I guess to some that would not seem cute but I find it super cute.
He is not the least bit aggressive. He is very submissive actually. He almost hisses as a hello and then he starts purring. I find it kind of adorable.
Not sure if we can find others who feel the same":)) Die hard cat lovers would! He purrs all the time.

He rolls on his back a lot and goes from one side to another until he gets your attention.
He will go around and around my legs in circles before he gets fed. He get so excited he can't stand it.
My husband and I will sit on the porch with him and he curls up against our backs to stay safe. He pushes his little body as close as he can against us.
He'll stay close to whomever he bonds with. I am sure of that.
He will just sit next to me on the patio and stare out knowing that he is safe with me. He tries to get under our arms when we are sitting down. He can't get close enough to us.
He is ALWAYS making biscuits....(kneading with his paws) ALWAYS! Even when he's standing, his little feet are trying to knead. When he sleeps, he falls asleep on his side kneading his little paws. I've trained him to like the sound of kisses. I wanted him to associate a sound with me so whenever I'd feed him I'd make kissing sounds.
Now if he's scared for some reason, I just make kissing sounds and he calms down."
Please SHARE this with anyone who may be able to help!
The situation is urgent now, as the weather is turning colder. His rescuer says "I want to get him inside with someone before it starts getting cold. He is so spunky and has so much love in him.
He is a work in progress and I want someone who understands that and is willing to be patient with him. I just know he will be worth it. He is really such a love.
He now follows me around our backyard and comes to me when I call him. just like a little puppy. He is so appreciative.
He will be a life long friend once he is settled into a home. Thank you so much for your help!"
